I hope to work in an IT firm in the position of a Web-Developer and a Java application developer. I hope to be valuable to my employer in terms of the Web Site application development experience that I possess.
Current Status: Free-lancer for web site development.
Involved in the development of a web site for Ispat Sales India Pvt. Ltd., a distributor of European construction equipment in India.
Employer: e.com, Chembur, Mumbai, Nov-1998 to Mar-1999, Full-time
e.com is the Internet wing of Rutmarg Commercials (http://www.rutmarg.com), Andheri, a global trading company with agro-based products as its primary focus. My association of the company came about at a time when it was looking to make its presence felt on the World Wide Web, primarily for marketing purposes. Towards the end of the web-site development project that we undertook for Rutmarg, Mr. Ganesh Kumar, the Chairman of the company, expressed his interest in employing the resources of SteelEye Internet Services to help diversify Rutmarg into the lucrative field of Information Technology. Thus e.com was formed. While the primary business of e.com remains creation of web-sites, it also runs a computer instruction centre and an internet house offering e-mail and web-browsing facilities. Though I was primarily involved in an administrative capacity, I was also called upon to offer my services as a tutor, web-designer and programmer. During my stint as a teacher, I taught courses in basic computer and Internet related activities to students. I addressed all software and hardware problems arising at the institute in the capacity of administrator.
I have taught courses relating to computer and Internet basics during my stint as an instructor.

About the project:
The objective of our project was to provide a signal processing circuit for the purpose of liquid scintillation. (Liquid Scintillation is a process widely used for detection and quantification of radioactivity.) The processing unit detected the occurrence of a radioactive event and associated an energy level with the event, hence providing all pre-requisites for making a plot of the number of radioactive events against corresponding energy levels. This plot is the basis for the analysis of any radioactive sample.
